History Teacher Arrested for DUI
Christine Clarke, a History teacher at Lincoln Middle School, was arrested last Tuesday for allegedly driving under the influence. According to the authorities, Clarke struck a mailbox while she was on her way home from work.
The suspect was driving north on New River Road in Lincoln when she passed over the center lane, hit a mailbox and smashed into a snow bank. The police noticed during the initial interrogation that Clarke had slurred speech and blood shot eyes, noticeable signs that she was indeed intoxicated.
In addition to DUI, Clarke was also charged with refusal to submit to a chemical breath test.
