Sheriff’s Lieutenant Arrested for Alleged DUI

Washington County Sheriff’s Lt. Jake Adams was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence last Sunday.

According to report, Adams drifted off the right shoulder then over corrected back to the left. The vehicle left the roadway and went straight to a dirt embankment. While Adams sustained minor injuries, nobody else inside the vehicle was reported injured.

Adams is likely to face charges on DUI, carrying a weapon while intoxicated and making an unsafe lane change.
