Belfry Man to Spend 20 Years in Prison Due to DUI

Shawn Edward Christman, 31 years old, pleaded guilty during his arraignment in Carbon County District Court to vehicular homicide and vehicular assault. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for vehicular assault and 20 years for vehicular homicide.Christman had previously admitted he was intoxicated when he drove his vehicle and killed the passenger in his car in a collision. Topeka Defense Lawyer Pleaded Guilty to DUI

Wendell Betts, Topeka defense attorney, pleaded guilty to several misdemeanor charges including DUI, possession of marijuana, driving with an open container and possession of drug paraphernalia in exchange for dismissal of felony indictments.According to report, Betts was arrested last Tuesday morning for alleged bond violations. Skokie Man Arrested for DUI

Edward B. Crabbe, 46 years old, was arrested last Tuesday evening for allegedly driving under the influence and other traffic related charges.According to report, Crabbe was traveling westbound on Central just before midnight last Tuesday. He then attempted to use his windshield wiper fluid for better visibility when he unexpectedly hit the front side of a truck.Crabbe was then taken into custody for DUI charges. Rock Band Star Guilty in Appeal of DUI Conviction

Todd Harrell, bassist rock band 3 Doors Down, lost his appeal on a DUI conviction last Wednesday in a bench trial in Harrison County Court.According to record, Harrell was convicted last Aug. 23 for driving under the influence. Novato Man Faces His 5th DUI Charge

Edward Cardenas Fernandez was charged last Wednesday with his fifth DUI offense. According to a report, Fernandez is now facing multiple charges including driving drunk while on probation for DUI, giving false identification to police, operating a vehicle with suspended license and driving with an open container of alcohol. Fernandez drove into a parked car last Tuesday evening on Marin Valley Drive. He was also caught driving over the legal limit of alcohol. Click here for more of this news.

10 Years in Prison Due to DUI

Stephan Ernst, 33 years old, was ordered by the court last Tuesday to serve three to ten years in prison state. The verdict was rendered in connection to a drunken driving incident in Allentown that left Ernst’s friend paralyzed from the chest down. Last November, Ernst pleaded guilty to aggravated assault while driving under the influence.
