42-Year-Old Man Sentenced for DUI Charge

Francis David Lynch, 42 years old, was convicted by a jury trial last October of multiple charges including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI in connection with the fatal crash, homicide by vehicle and careless driving.

It was found out during the trial that Lynch and his friends used a so-called “quarter game” to monitor the number of beers he had consumed few hours before he drove drunk and killed a 57-year old father. The victim was on his way to work when he got struck by Lynch.

Assistant District Attorney Lauren McNulty said, “He has not admitted that his drunk driving killed Barry Good. He refuses to admit he has a drinking problem.”
