Novato Man Faces His 5th DUI Charge

Edward Cardenas Fernandez was charged last Wednesday with his fifth DUI offense.

According to a report, Fernandez is now facing multiple charges including driving drunk while on probation for DUI, giving false identification to police, operating a vehicle with suspended license and driving with an open container of alcohol.

Fernandez drove into a parked car last Tuesday evening on Marin Valley Drive. He was also caught driving over the legal limit of alcohol.
