Woman Arrested for DUI

Following an incident in Petersburg that knocked out the power source, Erlinda Padilla was arrested for driving under the influence.

According to officials, a lot of people in Petersburg were left in the dark after Padilla smashed her 2001 Nissan Maxima into a utility pole in 300 block of South Park Drive. The incident happened around 3:50 a.m. and luckily nobody got hurt.

Police said around 600 customers were left Sunday morning without power.
