40-Year Old Woman Refuses Blood Test, Arrested for DUI

Paula Stapelman, 40 years old, was arrested Sunday morning for driving under the influence and tampering with evidence.

When the officers responded to a disturbance on Rodney St., a vehicle with open containers in and around it was spotted. Officers advised the individuals inside, including Stapelman, to not drive and stay put while waiting for the taxi. Few minutes later, the same vehicle was spotted driving at the intersection of Euclid and Madison.

In addition to first offense DUI, Stapleman will also be facing charges on open container violation.
