Bennington Police Conducted DUI Checkpoint

Bennington County Sheriff’s Department and Vermont State Police conducted a sobriety checkpoint over the weekend.

The DUI spot check was set up to ensure the safety of everyone on the road. The police department of Vermont and Bennington wanted to bring awareness to all the people that driving under the influence brings nothing but danger to everyone.

“Our goal is to make sure people are out there following the law and not a danger to themselves or others,” said Hudson.
