School Bus Driver Charged with DUI

36-year old Melissa Forrest was charged with driving under the influence after she got involved in a road accident last Sept. 17.

Police said Forrest was driving the school bus when she rear-ended a wheelchair-accessible van that stopped at a red light on Main Street. The suspect was driving five students from Bolton home at the time of the accident.

After Forrest failed several field sobriety tests, she was taken into custody but was later released on a bond.
