Grafton’s Mayor Faces DUI Charge

Early Saturday morning, Grafton Mayor Megan Flanigan was arrested on suspicion for driving under the influence.

According to report, a Grafton police officer found a damaged fire hydrant and a license plate on Fox Run Drive. While the officer was running the plate, Flanigan returned to the area and was spotted driving a heavily damaged white SUV.

After failing the field sobriety tests, Flanigan was arrested and booked into Lorain County Jail. She was issued summons for failure to stop after an accident and OVI.
