6 DUI Arrests in Two Separate Checkpoints

Last Friday, six drivers were cited for driving under the influence in two separate checkpoints in Rohnert Park and Sebastopol.The spot check set up in Sebastopol, where more than 950 vehicles were screened, happened between 6:40 p.m. and midnight. Three drivers were cited for driving without a license and another for criminal charges.In Rohnert Park, around 956 vehicles were screened and two drivers were cited for driving under the influence.For more of this story, click here.

Basketball Star Faces DUI Charge

NBA star Lamar Odom was arrested last Friday morning for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.According to report, the basketball player was stopped by the police officers just outside Los Angeles after he was spotted driving erratically. Hawks Coach Faces DUI Charge

Mike Budenholzer, Hawks coach, was arrested last Thursday morning for driving under the influence.According to State Patrol, the suspect was pulled over for driving without tail lights. When the officer detected an odor of alcohol, Budenholzer was then asked to perform a field sobriety test to which he refused.While in jail, the suspect immediately volunteered to submit himself to a breathalyzer test. 24-Year Old Man Arrested for Reckless Driving

Grigorii Scarlat, 24 years old, is now facing reckless charges after he was pulled over by a inspector for driving almost twice the legal speed limit.According to police, Scarlat was caught on radar speeding at 111 mph in a 65 mph zone and also making unsafe lane changes. Last Saturday evening, 52-year old David Howe was arrested for driving under the influence.According to report, Fairfield police received a phone call about an intoxicated man who came to Moe’s Liquor store to purchase alcohol. In connection to the two-vehicle crash that happened last Monday, two men were charged of driving under the influence.According to report, A 2007 Chrysler 300 and 2002 GMC Envoy crashed into a roadside ditch early Monday morning. Based on the initial investigation, the driver of the Envoy rear-ended the Chrysler driven by Kenneth J.
