Three Arrests at Visalia DUI Checkpoint

Last Friday night, three drivers were arrested at Visalia DUI checkpoint on suspicion of driving under the influence.The DUI checkpoint was set up at Caldwell Avenue and Fairway Street from Friday evening to Saturday morning. Driver Faces DUI Manslaughter Charge

Following a fatal crash that killed a pedestrian, a South Florida driver was arrested for DUI manslaughter. According to report, the accident happened at the intersection of Northwest Seventh Avenue and Northwest 20th Street in Miami. 27-Year Old Man Arrested for DUI

Jimmy Koch, 27 years old, was arrested last Saturday at mile marker 38 in the westbound lane.Police said Koch was pulled over for excessive speed and unlawful lane deviation. Elizabethville Man Arrested for DUI

32-year old Nicholas Apostolopoulos was arrested last Sept. 4 after he was spotted driving erratically at 3761 Peter’s Mountain Road.According to report, the suspect appeared to be noticeably intoxicated when he pulled into the McDonald’s parking lot. Fearing for the child’s safety, the staff from the fast food chain called the police and detained Apostolopoulos.The suspect was booked into Dauphin County Prison but was later released on a $15,000 bail.For more of this story, click here.

Springfield Woman Charged with DUI

After getting into an accident while trying to get out of her car, DUI suspect Christie Brandt was admitted to Memorial Medical Center for treatment of injuries.Police said Brandt was spotted by some witnesses driving erratically near Prairie Crossing Drive. 2-Year Imprisonment Due to DUI

37-year old Deel Diangson was sentenced last Friday to 2-year deferred imprisonment for criminal endangerment and six-month jail time for DUI and operating a vehicle without insurance.According to records, Diangson was pulled over last Feb. 21 by a Billings police officer after she ran a red light on Main Street. After being spotted traveling in Interstate 94 and eventually went off the road, 43-year old Lisa Smith Peterson was arrested for driving under the influence.According to authorities, police were sent to the area after they received a report regarding a woman trying to wave down motorists.
