Man Involved in a Hit-and-run Faces DUI Charge

38-year old Mountlake Terrace driver was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 5.According to report, the unidentified man was driving his green Ford Sedan when it crashed into a Toyota vehicle near Denny Way. 47-Year Old Father Arrested for DUI

Ashok Kapoor, 47 years old, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and child endangerment after he got pulled over along Georgia 400 south of Windward Parkway.Police said the driver was spotted speeding at 81 mph in a 65 mph zone with three children in the backseat. 55-year old Thomas Marrone was arrested last Aug. 30 for allegedly driving under the influence. 23-year old Andrew Reid Adair was arrested last Tuesday night after he was spotted driving erratically by Marion County Sheriff Chris Blair.According to report, Sheriff Blair spotted a car driving recklessly on State Road 326. Kansas City Checkpoint Yielded 19 Arrests

Last Friday night, a sobriety checkpoint was conducted in Kansas City. Of 1,109 vehicles screened, 19 drivers were arrested for DUI.The spot check was set up by Kansas City Police and Missouri Highway Patrol troopers at U.S. 169. During the 5-hour operation, five motorists were cited for driving with a suspended license, two for hazardous moving violations and 18 for other traffic offenses.Next week, Kansas Police will schedule another DUI checkpoint within the area.Click here for more up-to-date news.
