Driver Faces DUI Manslaughter Charge
Following a fatal crash that killed a pedestrian, a South Florida driver was arrested for DUI manslaughter.
According to report, the accident happened at the intersection of Northwest Seventh Avenue and Northwest 20th Street in Miami. A pedestrian, believed to be in his 40s, was struck by the driver and subsequently crashed into a concrete pole.
The victim was brought to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital but wasn’t able to make it. Meanwhile, the suspect was taken into custody and will be facing criminal charges.
