According to state police, speeding and reckless driving were two of the main causes of the road accident on Interstate 93.Initial investigation revealed that a white Ford F150 was accelerating at a high rate of speed while traveling south. Following the death of a Wyoming victim, 54-year old Mary Stahl Ahern was sentenced to three years with the Montana Department of Corrections. 20-Year Old Man Faces Reckless Driving Charge

After a 20- year old man rolled the Jeep Cherokee he was driving in Cornelius, he was arrested for reckless driving. According to Lt. Joe Noffsinger, Cornelius police, Wiliam Ramos was speeding, driving recklessly and squealing tires.It was also revealed that Ramos lost control of the 1996 Jeep which caused it to roll onto its top. DUI Checkpoint Led to Two Arrests

During the DUI checkpoint conducted Friday evening, two drivers were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.The checkpoint, which was set up at Court Street and Paradise Avenue, yielded to 26 other citations.
