Two Children Injured in a Drunk Driving Accident
24-year old Oakland man may face felony charges of driving under the influence after two of his minor passengers were seriously injured in a car accident.
The car crash took place at the northbound direction of Interstate 880 of Hacienda Avenue. 9-year old girl and 8-year old boy were passengers in the back seat of a 1997 Honda vehicle.
When the car slammed into a traffic camera pole, both children were ejected from the back seat. Due to the serious injuries they suffered, both passengers were taken to Children’s Hospital for immediate treatment.
